| I saw McCrimmon's understudy in L.A. (Hannah Shankman) and she handled the acting well and was a strong vocalist, though I found her upper register pretty hard to listen to. I enjoyed the first act but I was struggling to care about anything in the second act. I also saw the understudy for Eddie and thought he was fine. I was most taken with Melissa Manchester and the fun she was having playing Mrs. Brice. |
